A hugely exciting opportunity within a GP-led practice, for an experienced Practice Manager to join this stunning setting, based in Coorparoo.
About the role:
Being the main support to a team of 8 receptionists, nursing staff and GPs in the delivery of high-quality care to patients, your duties will include:
• Building a great relationship with the patients, Directors and team.
• Develop and maintain practice policies and procedures.
• Reporting on behalf of the Directors.
• Lead reception staff meetings and senior board meetings.
• Recruit and train new reception and nursing staff and assist the practice principals in the recruitment of GP’s and locums.
• Perform and document annual appraisals yearly.
• Coordinate annual leave ensuring rosters for the team are covered, including sick leave..
• Liaise with service providers.
• Fortnightly payroll processing.
• Assisting with debt collection when necessary.
• Provide reception cover as needed.
About you:
• Experience in a similar role within a GP practice alongside an understanding of the requirements of running the administration team.• A good understanding of Medicare.
• Great communication skills.
• Use of systems such as Best Practice (or similar) as well as MS Office and Xero.
