Property Manager

We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to lead our team in achieving our vision of a thriving, environmentally-conscious farming enterprise. Commitment to sustainable agricultural practices, dedicated to cattle breeding and trading, we are on a journey towards regenerative agriculture, focusing on preserving and enhancing our natural resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute operational and strategic plans for farm operations, focusing on livestock production and regenerative agriculture principles.
• Lead and manage a team of farm employees and contractors, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, legislation, and regulations.
• Collaborate with investors to demonstrate the impact of regenerative agriculture on global challenges and advocate for sustainable practices.
• Oversee husbandry care of livestock, farm maintenance, infrastructure development, and equipment operation.
• Maintain accurate records and budgets related to farming operations, providing regular updates and forecasts.
• Promote a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and innovation within the team.

Performance Goals:

• Successfully execute the investors' business and strategic plan.
• Implement system and practice changes to support regenerative agriculture.
• Advocate for regenerative agriculture through performance and demonstration.
• Ensure adherence to animal welfare, environmental, and safety standards.
• Provide innovative and timely advice and knowledge.
• Foster a positive team culture in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience in large-scale farm management, with a focus on livestock production and regenerative agriculture practices.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to drive productive change.
• Tertiary education in agriculture or relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in computer literacy, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to low-stress stock handling and regenerative agricultural principles.
• Understanding and compliance with legislative obligations regarding animal welfare, environment, and occupational health and safety.
• Possession of a current Australian Driver's License.
