We are seeking an experienced and qualified Property Manager to join our fast paced, dynamic award-winning team on a 12-month Maternity leave contract.
The role will see you managing a tidy, local portfolio of 200 properties in an end to end capacity, with no accounts or new business you will have plenty of time to ensure that this portfolio is well maintained.
There will be an extensive handover with the current Property Manager, also you will be supported by a Senior Property Manager, Leasing Manager, fellow Property Managers and Assistants.
We are looking for a highly capable candidate who has at least 12 months Property Management experience with outstanding communication & organisational skills. You must have the passion for the industry and a good sense of humour. Experience with Property Me is desirable but not essential.
This role is required to work Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, Tuesday and Wednesday start at 8.15am and every 4th Saturday from 9.00 am to 12 noon at our Traralgon Office.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
• Managing Landlord and tenant relationships
• Schedule and carry out condition reports and vacating inspections
• Take appropriate actions against tenants in arrears in a timely manner
• Will be supported by two Directors, Senior Property Managers and fellow Property Managers
• Attend Property Management meetings
• Oversee and assist with all maintenance issues
• Attend to Lease Renewals and negotiate Rent Reviews
• Assisting with advertising properties for lease online
• Processing Rental Administration
You will be self-motivated, mature approach with impeccable personal presentation, enjoy fun and laughter and have a keen eye for detail.
Other essential skills and attributes include:
• Must have Agent Representative Certificate
• Preference given to those with experience.
• Current Police Check
• Must have strong computer skills and experience working in a professional environment
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Confident telephone manner
• Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service
• Excellent time management, organizing and prioritizing skills
• Enjoy the fast paced and dynamic atmosphere
