AddressTasks & responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating property documents including contracts of sale, leases, and conveyancing documents.
- Conducting due diligence investigations into property and title searches.
- Advising clients on a broad range of property-related matters, including residential, commercial, and industrial property transactions.
- Representing clients in negotiations and settlements.
- Liaising with clients, other solicitors, real estate agents, and financial institutions to ensure transactions proceed smoothly and efficiently.
- Staying updated with changes in property law and practice.
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in the Chinese language
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience post-admission
- Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities
- Capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting as needed
- Robust legal research skills and analytical aptitude
- Attention to detail
- Effective time management abilities
- A willingness to learn
- Experience in using legal software and PEXA would be highly regarded
