The Level Up Psychology team are experienced working with children, adolescents and adults.
We provide counselling regarding a range of topics, including anxiety, stress, depression, obessions and compulsions, grief, emotional regulation, trauma, life transitions, phobias, sexuality, gender identity, relationship issues, resilience, behavioural concerns, and other related presentations.
We are all familiar with a wide range of educational, cognitive and social-emotional behavioural tools for testing and diagnosis, useful in the assessment of mood disorders, anxiety problems, autism, ADHD, learning difficulties (including dyslexia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia) and Intellectual Disability.
Schedule requirements
We are looking for a candidate interested in casual shifts at our new Frankston clinic, and the potential occasional casual shift at our Mount Waverley clinic.
Qualifications, experience & characteristics
- Bachlor of Psychology (or equivalent) preferred
- Previous medical/clinic reception experience desired
- Previous experience with practice management software will be well regarded, particularly Halaxy
- Ability to be independent and autonomous in work while effectively managing competing demands
- Friendly and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage difficult conversations
Tasks & responsibilities
- Scheduling and re-scheduling appointments for psychologist team members, including managing waitlist
- Book new clients and create client files
- Ensure client informaiton is accurate including billing information
- Assist clients to complete necessary forms and documentation including intake forms
- Respond to delegated client emails, phone calls and messages
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Provide basic and accurate information on clinic services via phone/email
- Maintain client confidentiality through appropriate use of email and practice management software
- Attending clinic meetings when required
- Complete clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
