What we are looking for:
The successful candidate will procure our vast product ranges while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. They play a pivotal role in maintaining vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Importing and managing logistics to our warehouses within Australia.
- Forecasting 6 months ahead, with our factories in Asia
- Sourcing and Supplier Management: Identify potential suppliers, negotiate terms and agreements, and maintain relationships with existing suppliers to ensure a steady supply of materials and equipment.
- Cost Analysis: Analyse supplier pricing and terms to optimise cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations, while minimising carrying costs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that purchased materials meet quality standards
- Supply Chain Optimisation: Collaborate with other departments, such as warehouse and logistics providers, to streamline the supply chain and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Purchase Order Management: Create, review, and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budget constraints.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all procurement activities.
- Place orders with Overseas/Local suppliers and ensure orders are expedited to meet delivery deadlines
- Organise and maintain rotational stock takes for each warehouse.
- Spot check stock rotation

Qualifications:
- Industry qualification or similar in supply chain management, business, or a related field, would be beneficial.
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management and Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Forecasting experience is a must.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
