The Opportunity
Internally known as “Timber Buyer”. We are seeking a new team member to join our Shepparton team. This role this role is responsible for:
- sourcing and purchasing timber products
- stock management
- coordinating/completing regular rolling timber stock takes
- assisting customers
- assisting sales team in the preparation of quotes
- investigate inventory discrepancies
- building and continue developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- continually looking for ways to add value to Bowens and our customers business
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate:
- A ‘Customer Comes First’ attitude
- Strong leadership skills and ability to relate to people at all levels with a particular focus on understanding the customer needs
- A passion and ability to deliver outstanding customer service and build great relationships
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Ability to work independently as well as contribute as a team member
- Experience in the Timber or Building industry is preferred but not essential.
This is not an entry level role and requires someone who can hit the ground running.
