If you are a Purchasing / Logistic Coordinator with solid Manufacturing (Export) industry experience, are able to hit the ground running and have the desire to 'get the job done this is the role for you!Our client, an international manufacturing company based in the South Eastern Suburbs requiring the services of an experienced Purchasing/Logistic Officer to join their team.
This role requires you to have the ability to work autonomously, but still be part of a team; responsibility include:
- Purchasing
- Production planning
- Booking Ocean Vessels for exporting products to overseas
- Documentation preparation; quotes, invoices etc
- Communication with freight forwarders
- Liaising with overseas offices
- Following up with suppliers and stakeholders
- SAP data entry and record keeping
- Excel spread sheeting (Excel Macro)
- OzDoc data entry
- Forecasting
- General administration as required
- Japanese language would be advantage
