We're here to support and equip you with great training and development, flexible work options and a positive team environment to help you build your career from the ground up or take it to the next level.Your new role awaits: As a Coates Purchasing Officer at our Moorebank Branch you will be supporting the Capex Buying team acquire over $200 million in equipment each year, adding to Australia's largest and most sophisticated fleet. This position drives the entire purchasing process, from raising a purchase order through to the safe and timely delivery of our product at locations all over the country. You'll also be assisting with improving supplier price solutions and be responsible for managing the pre-delivery process and requirements to make sure machines are safe and "rent ready". Establish and maintain effective, professional relationships with suppliers to ensure correct pricing and security of supply Using Coates' Purchasing System and be guided by internal purchasing procedures and policies Ensuring accurate records and documentation are maintained to ensure timely delivery requirements are met for all new equipment Optimise pre-delivery processes and supplier arrangement for all incoming Capex goods. Raise and seek approval for Capex goods Purchase Orders. Provide reporting on Capex delivery times (ETAs), pre-delivery and meet monthly reporting timetables and quality expectations Promote a Safety First, Zero Harm culture - champion safety with your colleagues and customers.
