This well-known Government Agency requires a Procurement Officer to join their team at a great rate of pay. This job is located in Sydney Inner-West and offers hybrid working flexibility.
Your new role
In your new position, you will provide strong customer service and transactional support to the organisation. You will respond to customer enquiries, questions, requests and processing tasks lodged through multiple channels. You will identify, nominate and participate in any continual improvement opportunities across processes, products, services, technology / systems and reporting within the Procurement Operations team. You will interpret relevant Finance & Procurement guidelines and provide accurate advice. You will work collaboratively with Shared Service Centre staff members and management, as well as other groups, cohorts and stakeholders across the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered in this role you will have experience in both understanding and interpreting Procurement / Finance policies and organisational procedures. You will have excellent customer service and communication skills. You will have an ability to effectively prioritise workloads, work within defined parameters and be solution-oriented. You will demonstrate high level computer literacy skills and knowledge, with specific proficiency in the Microsoft Office package.
