Role Responsibilities
As a Purchasing Officer, you are responsible to support the hotel team in the day to day operations, receive and approve goods and assist with invoice queries.
Your duties may include:
- Support the hotel team in its procurement requirements
- Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
- Liaising with suppliers to make orders and co-ordinate deliveries
- Maintaining and updating supplier information
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Complete Vendor Credit Application Form.
- Handle purchase requisitions (including review of specifications)
- Maintain par level of beverage, guest amenities, consumables and reorder periodically.
- Receives goods, check the quality and quantity against purchase order
- Keep the loading dock and work space clean and tidy
- Support the Finance team as required
Why YOU?
- Previous experience working in a procurement role in a similar scale 4-star hotel or similar size business
- Willingness and can-do attitude to assist in hotels' overall procurement objectives
- You have excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of computer-based systems including MBT, Cook the Books and Oracle ERP
- You are available to work Full Time with full Australian work rights (7am to 3pm, Mon to Fri)
