About the role
As the Purchasing Officer your role supports the following:
- Stock orders
- Stock management
- Transportation of goods
- Preparation of quotes
- Administration of trainees
- Preparation of proposals and contracts
- Working with various departments including warehousing, engineering and technical service.
To paint a picture of the operational aspect of the business that will give you a good idea of the variety and diversity of tasks required, so this is the operation in summary:
- Being the South Pacific Partner of Capstone Green Energy, means the company is invited into just about every request for a microturbine solution.
- The business supplies, commissions, maintains, repairs and renews (when required) microturbines to a wide variety of commercial and industrial customers throughout Australia and in the Pacific region.
- We have an inventory of parts to support various microturbines and other products, a supply chain that incorporates overseas manufacturers, some local distributors, local warehousing, contract transport and shipping.

About you
We are looking for someone who is very organised, thorough, curious, and happy to work in a small team and therefore can work autonomously as well.
You hold Australian citizenship, or permanent residency Visa or have the right to work permanently in Australia for a prescribed period of time.
