The Role
We are searching for a full time Purchasing Officer who is process driven and highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage inventory levels.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will be to support the business by optimising inventory levels to provide the best groundwork for meeting sales targets to ensure continued growth. This is a critical role in ensuring the continuity of supply.
- Running forecast and maintaining open purchase orders.
- Prepare and manage documentation for purchase orders.
- Maintain records, costings, update and distribute supplier price lists.
- Prepare and manage documentation for purchase orders.
- Coordinate custom clearance processes.
- Trace and manage the status of imported products.
- Communicate with suppliers and shipping companies.
Skills & Experience Needed
- Previous purchasing experience within a busy environment.
- Eye for detail, ability to multi-task and work unsupervised.
- Experience with Pronto, although not essential, would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to liaise with both internally and externally.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is an advantage.
