AddressThe Role
We are currently searching for enthusiastic Purchasing officer to join our team on a 13 month fixed term contract based in our Lynbrook to provide administrative support for the procurement function, placement and expediting of orders in line with demand for all non-critical raw materials, and support vendor assurance processes by requesting and maintaining documentation and any other duties required in the department.
The Lynbrook office has a great team on site and will offer the support and training to help you get equipped to hit the ground running with all things ABP!
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate pricing and payment terms for all non-critical raw materials
- Generate purchase orders, placement and expedite orders to ensure we receive within timely manner to achieve customer delivery dates
- Liaise with both suppliers and quality assurance / regulatory department to ensure timely and accurate processing of all documentation for vendor and product assurance programmes.
- Entry and monitoring of supplier sample process.
- Assist stakeholders with sourcing products.
- Supplier relationship management.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in administrative role, preferably in procurement but not essential.
- Be a good team player
- Ability to think on your feet and problem solve
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
