AddressAustralian Air-conditioning Distributors (AAD) is a leading heating and cooling wholesaler with operations in Victoria, NSW and Sth Aust.
To support our rapidly expanding business, we are seeking a Purchasing Officer.
Based at our Clayton head office, reporting to the Purchasing Manager your key responsibilities will include;
Your responsibilities will include:
- Placing, tracking and coordinating orders;
- Ensuring stock is transferred to each branch on time;
- Liaising with internal customers and stakeholders;
- Reviewing and minimising excess and obsolete stock;
- Assisting in planning and forecasting and;
- Ensuring inventory targets are met.
As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working within a Purchasing or related role;
- High standards of customer service;
- Great written and verbal communication skills;
- A positive attitude with a willingness to work with in a team;
- A capability to think outside the box to find solutions.
- Exposure to a warehouse management systems is desirable, but not essential.
- Degree qualification in logistics, supply chain or other relevant discipline is desirable, but not essential.
