This position is based in Northern suburbs of Melbourne.
About the role:
We are currently seeking an experienced QA Co-Ordinator to join the team on a permanent basis. Manufacturing a wide variety of products, this company require a talented individual who can bring more than just their technical ability, the ideal candidate will exude passion, enthusiasm and have a great personality. Excellent problem solving / troubleshooting experience is essential.
Due to production demands, the successful candidate must be flexible to work outside of normal working hours on some occasions.
The main purpose of this position is to implement new QA systems and audit existing systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Development, implementation and management of overall day to day QA strategies
- Ensure that all timelines relating to raw materials, in process manufacturing and finished products are met and meet quality standards
- Maintain quality assurance systems which include SQF (GSFI), WOW, COLES, CODEX, ORGANIC (NASAA)
- Audit existing systems and investigate non conformances
You will be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, have good communication skills and have the ability to work in fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in QA Management in a FMCG environment preferably meat or dairy.
- Demonstrated experience with external audits and QA systems (eg, Coles, Woolworths and Aldi)
- Strong communication and management skills
- Food export experience would be highly advantageous
