What You Will Do
Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
Our companys Animal Health manufacturing site in Bendigo is currently recruiting for a Quality Control Scientist position.
As a QC Scientist your key responsibilities will include:
Plan and execute Quality Control testing of intermediate/finish products, which could include sterility, bacterial, viral titrations, cell culture or chemical tests.
Recording and reporting of processes and test results with a focus on data integrity and accurate data entry both on test record forms and into SAP or Labware LIMS.
Execution of activities through central services department including autoclaving, decontamination and preparation of testing equipment.
Develop and maintain documentation and records in accordance with GMP and company requirements.
Raise and perform investigation deviations into non-compliant samples and products, including design and execution of Corrective and Preventative Actions.
Identify and actively participate when required in continual improvement activities and method validation requirements.
What You Must have
To be successful you will:
Hold a tertiary or equivalent qualification specialising in a science discipline (microbiology and/or immunology preferred)
Demonstrate experience of working with aseptic techniques in a GMP laboratory environment is desirable coupled with Knowledge of APVMA and other regulatory bodies requirements
Great eye for detail with highly developed scientific problem-solving skills
Well-developed skills to work autonomously as well as within a team.
Be a proactive quality focused individual with excellent attention to detail, have good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to learn quickly, retain knowledge and identify areas of improvements to build on your experience and the development of the team.
