About the Company

For more than 30 years we have specialized in repairs to domestic and commercial properties damaged through insurable events such as fire, storm, flood, impact and malicious damage.
About the Role
An office based Repair Coordinator is required for our busy Brisbane Office. Working as part of a close knit team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of insurance repair projects from the point of authorisation through to completion.
This role is responsible for creating schedules of works for trades and repairs, monitoring budgets and cost control for all files, managing all purchase orders and invoices, following up jobs, updating internal systems, collating photos and other associated documents for the timely submission of reports and quotations and ensuring all jobs are completed on or before the expected completion date.
We are looking for a team player and self-starter with a strong customer service and organisational background and who is target focused and KPI driven.
Capabilities and Behaviours
Strong verbal and written communication
Expert organisation and time management skills
Interpersonal skills with an ability to maintain and build both internal and external relationships
Proven skills in construction for building repairs to both domestic and commercial properties
Capacity to excel in high tempo environment with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge and Experience
Solid coordination experience in small-medium reinstatement work
Thorough understanding of the construction process, critical inspection points, permit and WHS requirements
Understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards and State legislation
Previous experience in interacting with multiple stakeholders at different levels
Experience in the insurance repair industry is highly desirable
High level of computer competency
Due to our business being heavily weather related and linked closely to major insurable events, overtime is occasionally required.
