About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Quality Advisor to ensure safety, quality and environment standards of maintenance services performed on behalf of our client, Sydney Airport. This crucial role is responsible for managing compliance of facility management to ISO “triple certification” (Safety, Quality & Environment).
Based at Sydney Airport (Mascot, NSW) and offered on a permanent full-time basis, this role presents the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the safety of all patrons of this iconic facility that is a cornerstone of our local community and the wider international travel industry.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Ensure compliance to relevant ISO certifications and high-quality standards for FM services.
Develop and implement audit processes to maintain certifications across the contract.
Provide expert advice on safety, quality and environment ISO compliance and risk.
Proactively identify and work with wider team to mitigate workplace hazards.
Continuously improve relevant quality management systems.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting.

About You
To thrive in this role, you will be an experienced quality and compliance professional with a ‘trusted advisor’ approach to quality assurance and natural ability for ‘top-notch’ people engagement. You will have demonstrated experience managing and/or implementing a Quality Management System (QMS) and subject matter expertise of ISO 9001:2015. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
Experience and/knowledge of ISO 45001:2018, 14001:2015 and 55001:2014 advantageous, not essential
Experience in facilities management or similar industries such as engineering, trades etc is desirable, not required
Highly developed communication and robust stakeholder engagement ability
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint)
Data-driven decision making – Report, action, present & communicate
