THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking experienced Quality Assurance Officers to join our team and ensure the consistent delivery of quality products to KGF customers. The successful candidate will support the operational teams by assisting the business achieve its operational and strategic goals through monitoring effective QA practices identifying and providing corrective and preventative actions as required. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Ensure operations conform to food safety regulations and Quality Systems requirements though partnering with Production
- Document control and report on the non-conformance and Corrective Action Requirements (CAR's) within the parameters of the Quality Management System
- Support and implement key food safety requirements and quality outcomes
- Undertake quality internal audits, HACCP enquiries, and respond to any customer complaints
- Ensure all staff are aware and comply with the necessary requirements of our Quality Management Systems
ROSTER
Working a roster system that allows a great work/life balance on Green Day Shift in our Warehouse Department commencing at 4.30am.
ABOUT YOU
- Qualifications in HACCP, and AusMeat Specification Qualifications, or
- Quality assurance background in a food manufacturing environment, or
- Operational experience in a meat processing facility
- A strong sense of accountability and responsibility
- Commitment to company values, and food safety culture
- Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Attention to detail, initiative, time management and follow through
- Unlimited working rights within Australia
- Ability to work alongside a diverse workforce
- Own transport or reliable means of getting to work
- Vaccinated (or willing to be) against Q Fever.
