Based in a vibrant Sydney inner suburb, you’ll be at the heart of exciting developments, reporting to the Product Manager and collaborating with the Product Development and Quality team.
In this role, you will not only provide expert documentation production and advice to national sites but also have the opportunity to work across a variety of product categories, with 75% of your focus on existing products and 25% on new product development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Product Specifications: Review, examine, and update documentation across food and industrial categories, catering to retail, wholesale, and bulk sectors.
- Product Information Forms: Develop and update PIFs in line with Australian Food and Grocery Council (AFGC) guidelines.
- Effective Communication: Liaise with Product Development, Operations, and Quality teams to ensure accurate information capture.
- Quality Document Updates: Regularly update documents to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Packaging Compliance: Review packaging data for adherence to legislation, APCO standards, and customer guidelines.
- Accurate Specifications: Ensure specifications and artworks are completed with precision, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Regulatory Awareness: Stay updated on regulatory and technical matters related to artwork and packaging.

- Certificate IV, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Food Science/Technology.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Food Technology and FMCG industry.
- Experience in quality and compliance within the Australian food manufacturing industry, specifically baking and recipe formulation.
- Knowledge of FSANZ, PEAL, and relevant industry standards.
- Familiarity with Retail NPD and/or Private Label industry practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Quality database applications (PDS, PIF AFGC, CoOL Annex).
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Ensure documentation accuracy and consistency.
- Provide support to all stakeholders both internal and external.
- Maintain quality and customer databases.
- Ensure product specifications and packaging artworks comply with standards.
- Assist in maintaining quality systems and records.
- Prepare weekly reports on quality assurance activities.
