Based 5 days a week onsite in Sydney, we are currently seeking a Full-Time Quality Control Officer tostart immediately for our Afternoon Shift. Reporting to Quality Control supervisor, you will be part of a team of professionals responsible testing and inspection of products and processes at various stages of receiving and production, and creates, checks or approves records which demonstrate quality attributes of the product.
Tasks & Responsibilities for this position include:
- Implement and maintain Quality policies, procedures, work instructions and communication skills
- Inspect and test imported finished goods according to company procedures and within agreed timeframes,
- Quality control of raw material and finished products
- Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and other compliance standards.
- Conducting audits in accordance with approved schedules company procedures and timetables as required, and ensure the results are appropriately documented,
- Undertake finished goods release for sale as per company procedures, refer non-conformances to Supervisor for advice,
- Ensure Quality Records are created and maintained according to company procedures, assist in the preparation of appropriate specifications for inspections as required,
- Undertake calibration activities as required, keeping appropriate records as per company procedures,
- Assist with Validation and Internal Audit activities as requested,
- Undertake training as required to learn and maintain skills relevant to Multigate’s requirements,
- Assist with the training of production and warehouse personnel as required,
- Implement the requirements of the QMS/EMS and its associated quality plans.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent in use of Computer software
- Self-motivated to work autonomously or within a team.
- Customer focused with a timely service orientation.
- Trade or tertiary qualification in a technical, engineering or science related discipline relevant to medical device manufacturing
- At least 3 years work experience in a manufacturing environment in a quality related role
- Experience with stock management software
