So where do you sit with this?
You are not your typical compliance and quality geek.
You will of course bring a deep knowledge and understanding of RTO compliance standards, ASQA knowledge and audit experience. But you hate the thought of just ticking boxes. You’re more interested in being part of something bigger, an organisation that’s great at executing on strategy and facilitating high performing operations, in our case – delivering the best training.
As the QHSEC Leader you will be a Culture Creator and influence our Leaders to take full understanding and ownership of their team’s quality, compliance and HSE responsibilities. You will also be a Systems thinker and have the ability to simplify our internal ways of working which will support and strengthen overall organisational, team and individual ownership of quality, compliance and HSE at ERGT.
And with the support and knowledge that already exists in this team you will lead the QHSEC function and the rest of the organisation towards our QHSE vision in light of our values.
Clearly, you are already a roundly experienced, qualified, subject-matter expert with a passion around the how of quality and Compliance. But for this role, you also need to be a humble, energetic ‘leader’, ‘coach’ and ‘process designer’ who is committed to embedding a culture of quality and safety that is easy and just part of what we do.
