We are currently looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join our growing Infrastructure team on one of our metro projects involving the design and construction of roads, structures, noise walls, street lighting and ITS and shared paths.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Implementation of the project quality plan, framework, specifications, company requirements, formal standards and any applicable regulatory codes appropriate to the project needs
- Maintaining Quality Assurance Management Systems across the project to meet appropriate standards
- Liaising with third party certification bodies to ensure audits and corrective actions are implemented
- Ensuring that quality performance indicators are proactively achieved and reported to the project team
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure quality requirements and expectations are met
- Liaising with the client to identify and monitor quality requirements and perceptions
- Identifying and implementing appropriate statistical methods and quality tools to monitor and improve business performance
- Monitoring compliance through various surveillance activities, including ongoing site visits, inspections and audits
- Identifying quality issues and assisting with the implementation of solutions to improve the projects quality system, processes and outcomes
- Support the team in maintaining NRW’s Quality Management System
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following as a minimum:
- Civil Engineer Qualifications are desirable
- Relevant Audit Qualifications e.g., Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor with high level of experience in ISO 9001
- Experience delivering quality management services for Main Roads WA projects
- Experience with implementation of corrective and improvement action programs
- High level of knowledge in administering and implementation of SharePoint and InEight (Teambinder) EDMS (Electronic Document Management System)
- Intermediate use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in ensuring effective compliance management for quality management plans and statutory approval
- Experience in internal and external quality audit systems
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with important stakeholders to achieve best project outcome
