We are seeking a dedicated Quality Risk and Compliance Manager to join our team in the disability sector, with a focus on ensuring compliance with NDIS regulations and maintaining high standards of service delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance processes, risk management strategies, compliance frameworks, and adherence to ISO standards.

Another business is Helping Community Solutions. HCS is a community services organization established to assist the Department of Communities in housing at-risk youth during times of crisis. HCS offers solutions to help young people in crisis, including temporary and group foster care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with NDIS standards, ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and other relevant regulations.
- Conducting regular audits and reviews of service delivery processes to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement risk management strategies to address identified risks effectively.
- Providing guidance and support to staff members on compliance requirements and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitoring and reporting on compliance with NDIS standards, ISO standards, and contractual obligations.
- Staying updated on changes to NDIS policies, ISO standards, guidelines, and regulations, and ensuring timely implementation of any required changes.
- Investigating incidents, complaints, and breaches of compliance, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Liaising with external regulatory bodies, auditors, and other stakeholders as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in quality assurance, risk management, and compliance within the disability sector, preferably in relation to the NDIS and ISO standards.
- Sound knowledge of NDIS policies, ISO standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address compliance issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), risk management (e.g., ISO 31000), or other relevant ISO standards would be advantageous.
