Ascend Health is currently searching for a dedicated Quality, Risk and Compliance Manager to bolster our team. Previous experience in the NDIS and healthcare sector is highly recommended for this role.
In this position, you will be pivotal in managing and executing policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Your role will directly impact the safety and well-being of those under our care, making a significant difference in their lives.
As a Quality, Risk and Compliance Manager, you'll have the chance to devise and implement innovative solutions to prevent and handle incidents and hazards. Additionally, you'll collaborate and liaise with regulatory bodies, conduct safety inspections and audits, and deliver training on safety policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with NDIS regulations.
- Managing incident and hazard management reporting systems.
- Identifying potential hazards and recommending preventative measures.
- Developing and conducting training on safety policies and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with staff training and managing training programs.
- Conducting regular safety and Compliance related audits.
- Preparing reports on safety and Compliance performance.
- Hosting quality improvement meetings
- Liaising with key personnel to collate and act upon feedback
- Liaising with relevant regulatory bodies as necessary.
Requirements:
- Have (or be willing to achieve) Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or similar equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in training or safety or compliance roles, preferably within the NDIS and healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Passion for ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals with disabilities.
