About us Melbourne Private Hospital is a 124 bed private hospital co-located with the Royal Melbourne Hospital in the heart of Parkville, 1.7km from Melbourne CBD. Our hospital offers highly specialised services including extensive neurosurgery, neurology, advanced coronary care, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic and general surgery. These services are supported by a 10-bed intensive care unit, 4-bed acute coronary care unit and 6-bed neurosurgical high dependency unit. As the Quality Manager your responsibilities will include:Facilitate ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Hospital/Facility wide quality improvement program and to promote risk management to support the strategic direction.Be responsible for and lead short notice accreditation.Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.Responsible and lead quality and clinical Governance outcomes.Ensuring the hospital operates in accordance with applicable standards and complies with regulatory and accreditation requirements as well as striving for continuous improvement.The coordination and implementation of the infection control program to ensure high quality patient care and staff safety in infection control.Ensuring a safe practice and working environment for staff.Adapt to operational requirements.Essential Criteria:Authority to Work in AustraliaWorking with Children checkBachelor of Nursing or equivalentCurrent Registration (no restriction) with AHPRAImmunisation certificateAuditing skillsCompliance with ACQSHC National standardsClinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvementSelf-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning teamExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsHighly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focusedWhy Healthscope?
