The CompanyThis Australian owned manufacturing business has been delivering high end quality products to Australians for over 70 years. They supply their products to overseas markets as well as locally. With continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Quality Manager into one of their sites located in Dandenong.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Building effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure standards are met and embedded.
- Coordinate and conduct internal audits to ensure products meet customer and business expectations.
- Oversee/ coordinate trials of new and changed product to ensure quality standards are set and can be consistently met.
- Validate and analyse claims data, identify trends, and drive site-based improvement initiatives.
- Maintain an effective Non-conforming (NCR) program.
- Regularly report on the performance of site quality metrics and corrective and preventative actions.
- Develop and implement quality standard operating procedures.
- Provide site training as required on quality requirements.
In order to be successful for this role you will have:
- 3+ years’ in a Quality leadership role.
- Must have experience within the FMCG sector preferably in dairy or small goods.
- Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems.
- Auditing experience, with certification advantageous.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
