AddressWorking with the Quality team nationally, Operations Management, Regional General Manager and other key leaders within the business, the Quality Manager is responsible for leading Quality in WA and providing business services support in the areas of internal audit, reporting, analysis, training, and project delivery support for the WA Region.
This diverse and exciting position will see you involved in:
- Training and supporting Project Directors and Project Managers with GHD’s Quality Management System and use of applicable tools
- Promoting the use of the Quality Management System and legal requirements via leadership, coaching and mentoring of management and staff
- Supporting effective management decision-making by monitoring Quality performance, analysing data to identify trends and making recommendations to management
- Delivery of Quality Management System initiatives and updates to meet local and client requirements.
- Planning and delivering internal audits in accordance with the Quality Audit Schedule through conducting audits and coordinating the completion. Present outcomes to collaborators for continual improvement
- Leading Quality Management System (AS/NZ/ISO 9001) certification process
- Where required, contributing to the development and implementation of project specific quality management plans
What would you bring to the team?
- Formal qualifications in Quality Management or a relevant engineering or science field or equivalent directly relevant experience
- Well-developed communication skills - both verbal and written
- Great teammate, collaborative with other staff with open sharing of information
- Effective relationship building, coaching, influencing, networking, and negotiation skills
- Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to exercise sound judgement and decisiveness with problem solving
- Experience as a Project Manager and/or Auditor is desirable
- Experience with ISO 9001 certification processes is desirable
