They are now in need of a talented Quality, Risk & Compliance Manager to work with their team and clients to ensure service delivery is smooth and efficient based at the North Perth office.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, as the Quality, Risk and Compliance Manager, you play a pivotal role in maintaining service delivery quality, managing risks, and ensuring adherence to all NDIS compliance standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the organisation's mission. This is a permanent full-time opportunity and to be successful in this role you will have the utmost respect, empathy, and passion for disabled clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate service models and client outcomes, predicting and responding to service trends.
- Undertake internal audits as required for quality assurance and continuous quality improvement, provide further feedback and solutions to maintain compliance.
- Actively participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement strategies.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership in the delivery of NDIS services.
- Maintain and improve service quality through audits, complaint investigations, and corrective actions.
- Elevate the skill, knowledge, and awareness of the entire business around quality and compliance.
- Develop, review, and implement policies and procedures to meet quality framework and accreditation requirements.
- Ensure compliance, monitor the NDIS portal, champion reporting and monitoring of Restrictive Practices, and actively engage in continuous improvement processes.
About You:
- 2 to 3 years’ experience working in a similar role within the disabilities sector in Australia so you can take charge in your role from the beginning.
- Experience within the NDIS quality and safeguards framework, NDIS Practice Standards, and Disability Service Standards.
- In-depth knowledge of the NDIS, managing people, and working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS Restrictive Practices Framework.
- Experience in SIL, STA, and/or MTA is required.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet conflicting deadlines.
- RN / EN experience working with an aged care, disability, or people services organisation is highly desirable
- Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to align with the organization's values and vision.
- Passion for working with people with disabilities and a customer-focused attitude.
- Possession of a cleared NDIS Workers Clearance.
- Evidence of Flu and COVID-19 vaccination.
- Rights to work in Australia.
