An opportunity currently exists for a Quality Systems Coordinator to join the Quality team based in our Campbellfield Factory. The Campbellfield factory produces confectionery brands such as Kit Kat, Allen’s, Nestlé, Milky Bar, Smarties, Aero, Soothers, QuickEze, Chokito and many more which delight consumers worldwide.  

The Quality Systems Coordinator will lead, and ensure effective implementation of and compliance to, the Nestlé Quality systems; including SAP-QM, Net Content Control (NCC), and the document management systems

A day in the life…

Reporting to the QA Manager, key responsibilities include but not limited to: 

  • As the site SAP-QM Superuser, ensure effective implementation and compliance to the Nestlé requirements of SAP-QM. 
  • Drive improvement of the existing SAP set-up, including implementation of new initiatives (e.g. SAP-QMS).
  • Manage the local document control system, including health checks, training, and compliance.
  • Participate in the site's internal audit program. Identify and drive internal audits related to the Quality Systems.
  • Ensure the use and success of structured root cause analysis after incidents relating to Quality Systems failures have occurred.
  • Own and deliver training related to the Quality Systems as is required.
  • Actively participate in NCE & TPM pillars and activities, delivering to the requirements outlined in the methodology.
  • Develop and deliver trending and analysis on key quality performance measures, supporting our loss reduction initiatives
  • Drive effective corrective action management to strengthen and optimise our quality system
  • Champion root cause analysis in incident investigations and improvement projects.

What will make you successful

  • Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be self-motivated, proactive and have a proven capacity to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Diploma or degree qualified in Food Sciences, or related field of study.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Quality Specialist, preferably with SAP experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and a proven capacity to influence and negotiate to drive high standards of performance and quality.
  • Passionate about working for Nestlé and sharing its purpose.
  • Experience in TGA manufacturing environments will be considered favourably
