Queensland Police Service Education and Training Services (ETS) performs several roles and functions to support education and training, including the management of Registered Training Organisation (RTO) administrative requirements. Staff work closely with a variety of training delivery units to provide advice and support regarding the overall training quality of all nationally accredited courses and qualifications managed by the RTO. This is to ensure ongoing compliance with the requirements of the national regulator.
The Quality Systems Review Officer will be responsible for supporting the effective and efficient management of RTO compliance through the development, review and implementation of policies and procedures.
Your Key Accountabilities:
The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Develop, implement, maintain and review the RTO quality assurance system and processes.
- Coordinate and conduct validation and quality management audits across the scope of RTO operations.
- Monitor the RTOs compliance with the VET Quality Framework.
- Provide guidance and advice to management and staff on RTO related matters.
- Prepare relevant Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) documentation for submissions including additions to scope, change of details and accreditation of nationally recognised short courses.
- Implement and maintain RTO quality assurance system registers including continuous improvement, industry engagement and complaints and appeals.
- Research, develop and deliver professional development activities for RTO training network staff.
Role Requirements:
Mandatory:
- While there are no mandatory requirements for this role, possession of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher) and experience working in an RTO compliance/quality position is highly desirable
Other:
- Position is currently located at the Oxley Campus of the People Capability Command however may relocate to Wacol in the future.
