The Client
Our client is a globally recognised manufacturer of mineral processing and water treatment equipment based in Bankstown, NSW.

Role
We're in search of a dedicated Quality Technician to support our client's day-to-day operations at their Milperra location. This role is Monday – Friday, 8am to 4pm and a temp to perm opportunity!
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 management system
- Perform goods inwards and parts verification
- Conduct internal non-conformance investigations
- Carry out internal auditing and regulation compliance
- Maintain calibration register and conduct calibrations
- Generate necessary QA documentation, reports, and records
- Investigate quality issues and customer complaints
- Raise identified non-conformances against suppliers and review responses
- Contribute to FMEA and PPAP submissions
About you
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Proficiency in using measuring equipment with high accuracy
- Independent worker with effective time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and levels
Qualifications
- MUST have engineering or trade background with emphasis on mechanical applications
- MUST have metrology experience
- CMM experience (Coordinated Measuring Machine) is preferred
- Manufacturing experience is preferred
- SPC experience is preferred
