YOUR ROLE
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you'll manage complex claims and effectively execute and maximise negotiated settlement opportunities.
You'll identify and engage in opportunities to drive cost containment that ensure a commercially beneficial outcome for the organisation, aligned with our legislative and compliance requirements.
Joining our Rapid Property team you will manage multiple brands and a range of policy types including personal home, rural and commercial policies. You'll be operating in a fast-paced environment with customers that are experiencing major life events. High level of communication, displaying empathy and the ability to be resilient is an absolute must. In return you'll be part of an engaging team that make a difference.
Successful candidates will work from our state-of-the-art office located in the West Perth office, with flexibility to work from home after training and attend the office when required. You will work Monday to Friday Business Hours from 8.30 - 5.00PM (Perth Time). Your IAG journey commences with a comprehensive, induction training (fully paid).
This permanent full-time opportunity offers hybrid working conditions that support a mix of working from home and our West Perth office.
Please note: To work from home, you'll need high speed internet connection and a private home office set up.
ABOUT YOU
To be success you'll demonstrate the following:
Understanding and sound knowledge of claims management and settlement
Experience to effectively deal with customers and diffuse conflict situations.
Capability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to actively listen and problem solve effectively
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships
Computer skills
