About the Role
- Advising ratepayers on matters relating to arrears and coordinating 'arrangement to pay' plans
- Monitoring and actioning accounts in arrears up to and including legal action
- Managing computer and/or written records
- Attending to general correspondence and enquiries
- Advising Senior Recoveries Officers of difficult accounts
- Following up with the Rates department regarding new owner letters, changes of postal address and other matters relating to recoveries
- Local Government experience would be advantageous
- Strong computer database skills
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Demonstrated numerical skills
- Proven ability to maintain good customer relations and communicate with people of all levels
- Previous Pathway experience is highly desirable
