Based in Witchcliffe (8km’s South of Margaret River) in WA’s beautiful South West, WEV is in the envied position of having secured much of its sales through its website, word of mouth, media coverage and reputation. The WEV residential community is developing fast with civil construction completed and around 60% of lots sold. We are now moving into the exciting phase of planning the commercial buildings around the village square, the heart of the community.
In 2023, we established Real Estate agency, Village Homes Realty Pty Ltd (VHR), to enable us to re-sell privately-owned Ecovillage lots and established sustainable homes on the open market.
We are looking for a registered Real Estate Sales Representative to take on a sales position working for both VHR and Sustainable Settlements selling vacant lots and homes in the Ecovillage.
Communications and marketing play a crucial role in promoting and raising WEV’s profile to drive lot sales, liaising with our burgeoning community, and ensuring our sustainability principles are upheld and promoted.
The successful applicant will be a flexible and efficient team player who must be able to turn their hand to any sales and marketing-related tasks, while also being able to work independently. The Witchcliffe Ecovillage is a unique and complex development, with sustainability features, shared community infrastructure, strata bylaws, and building design guidelines, and the successful applicant must be willing to learn substantial background information to present the Ecovillage to purchasers with clarity and enthusiasm.
It is a 4-5 day per week position based in the WEV sales office in Witchcliffe and reports to the General Manager.
KEY SALES TASKS- Actively co-manage all sales enquiries that come into the Ecovillage office on behalf of VHR (resale lots) and WEV (developer lots) including drop-in visits, email, phone, zoom and sales tours.
- Conduct weekly sales presentations and site tours with prospective buyers.
- Write and administer sales contracts and actively follow up sales leads.
- Co-manage sales administration tasks alongside the General Manager and Admin Assistant.
- Must have a Real Estate Sales Representative Certificate or Agent Triennial Certificate
- Experience and interest in sustainability and Permaculture will be highly regarded.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
