Community Options is seeking a friendly, confident and welcoming receptionist to join our team. Front of house reception duties is the main responsibility of this role. Liaising with clients of all ages, key stakeholders and staff. Working as part of the business operations team; delivering excellence in client services administration support.
Skills to be successful in this role:
Proficient active listening skills both over the phone and in person when supporting inquiries. Flexible and quick thinking; responding to and triaging phone calls, messages and emails in a timely manner. Strong verbal and written skills; with an ability to acknowledge and follow directions. Ability to use Microsoft office; or quick learner with systems and processes. Along with a strong drive to learn and embrace this role.
This position would suit individuals looking to launch a career in administration support within the community sector. Ongoing team training and mentorship to support your success.
Ongoing daily tasks will include:
- Reception duties; via calls and emails and in person greetings.
- Process mail out/in daily
- General office duties to support the organisation
- Meeting room and office space tidy
- Stationery ordering and office supply oversight
- Process customer payments via phone or mail; entry into finance system
- Data entry in excel, attache finance and record systems
- Adhoc tasks as required

SCHADS Award Level 3.1
Full Time in office role; Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
Must have drivers license, Working With Vulnerable People registration or ability to obtain one.
