About the RoleWe are currently looking for an administrative ‘wizz’ to fill an ongoing vacancy.
The Reception & Administration Officer role requires someone with a strong customer focus, as a first point of contact for both internal and external clients. The ideal candidate would be an ‘office all-rounders’, agile and open to applying a wide range of skills to pitch in and help make things happen. Every day will not be the same and you will support and work with leaders within the community services sector in the ACT.
About YouIf you have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of people, including customers, senior managers, colleagues, YWCA Canberra members and clients and key stakeholders, have a can-do attitude, we look forward to hearing from you!
The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, Working with Vulnerable People registration, current National Criminal Record Check, and a current driver’s license.
The right person will have:
- Relevant qualifications or experience in a similar role
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate (both verbal and written) and liaise effectively with a range of people.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of confidentiality.
- Computer literacy, particularly the Microsoft suite of products.
- Ability to maintain accurate relevant records.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team (self-motivated).
- Work for a values-based organisation within a feminist and social justice framework which is making a difference in our community.
