Our client has a key role in business process reform, regulatory reform and project work within the branch, as well as being a liaison for other Branches and external stakeholders. The team is responsible for processing section 14 publication requests, requests for early scientific advice, managing public enquiries through the inbox and providing project support to the Section.
Position duties:
- Entering data from proprietary ingredient notifications (PDF forms) from external stakeholders into ingredient database and ensuring that the data meets certain requirements and quality checks.
- Working as part of a small team to respond to enquiries (via email and telephone) from stakeholders and providing accurate advice regarding the administration of ingredients used in medicines in Australia.
- Drafting email correspondence relating to ingredient naming and proprietary ingredients.
- Assisting in a wide range of administrative activities for the Branch, including creating, managing records in our records management systems (e.g. TRIM and SharePoint).
- Coordinating input from a variety of stakeholders.
- Entering data from decision letters (Word/PDF into a SharePoint list) that will be used in public notification of supply of products that do not conform to certain standards.
- Data integrity projects to improve data quality in databases: using Excel spreadsheets to update data and checking if it meets certain business rules.
- Contributing to continuous business improvements and change management such as updating procedures.

- Accurate and efficient data entry
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and use databases.
- Experience or knowledge of medicines and/or medical terminology (or demonstrated ability to quickly learn science-related content).
