About us
This role covers reception for two of our businesses. Melbourne College of Further Education (MCFE) and Serve It Up, both are registered training organisations (RTOs).
MCFE offers courses in community services and SIU offers courses in hospitality. We only operate in Victoria and we have two skills first funding contracts which means we are very dedicated to compliance and following procedures.
The reception role usually starts 8.30 am and finishes 4.30.pm. But we are open to slight adjustments to this to meet the needs of the right person.
Qualifications & experience
- Ideally a Cert II or above in Business (not essential)
- Digital literacy skills - able to confidently navigate Microsoft Office, a variety of websites, and web-based software programs
- Must have customer service experience
- Working with children check (apply online prior to commencing)
Tasks & responsibilities
- Answering all incoming phone calls
- Handling inquiries within your knowledge and training
- Taking phone messages and passing on to the relevant person
- Taking client notes and updating our student management system for all incoming queries
- Helping other student services staff with administrative tasks
- Scanning and saving digital files
- Opening and closing the classrooms
- Handling all client inquiries at the front reception desk
