This well established and growing modern business provides one on one personalized workmanship for both commercial and residential projects. A dedicated and professional company that values its employees.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Receptionist/Administrator to provide vital day to day administration support for the running of the business.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Front desk reception, reception duties, including answering phone calls and directing calls to relevant team members.
  • Sorting and distributing incoming mail, both electronic and hard copy, on daily basis
  • Website email enquiries
  • Typing quotes and updating quote register
  • Invoicing – general customer invoices when required and debtor collecting. 
  • Entering Supplier Invoices (Bills) into Reckon (QuickBooks) 
  • Creditors statements reconciliations
  • Filing
  • Maintaining office supplies and consumables ensuring the office runs smoothly
  • Create New Project setup in Reckon -Training will be provided
  • Finalising end of month supplier payments or any C.O.D Payments 
  • Process Credit Card payments
  • Ad hoc duties as required

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal 
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail 
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and able to meet deadlines 
  • Experience with MS suite
  • Local candidates will be looked upon favorably

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Previous office experience
  • Previous exposure to entering supplier invoices 
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft office products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with employees, clients, and suppliers.
  • Ability to priorities and juggle a variety of tasks throughout the day
  • A can-do attitude and an eye for detail
  • Be hard-working, punctual, and organized.
  • Previous experience with Reckon will be highly regarded but is not essential

This is a permanent full-time position (5 days) working 8am -4.30pm. We are however flexible to work around school hours for the right candidate.
