Our client is one of Albury/Wodonga's largest employers and is a nation wide manufacturing organization.
The Administration Assistant will report directly to the Plant Accountant and is a hands-on role providing both financial and operational resources to the Wodonga management team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment and have the following attributes:
- Highly effective and efficient communication skills at all levels.
- Knowledge of both purchasing and accounting systems.
- Ability to liaise with vendors and provide support to Internal departments.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Excel and Word
- High level of problem-solving skills and numerical and verbal reasoning skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and have excellent organizational skills.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced and pro-active team environment
The role has the following main areas of responsibility.
- Provide the Plant Accountant with administration and month-end result reporting support.
- Purchasing, processing accounts payable, receipt of goods and clearing vendor invoices.
- Oversee the ordering and stock maintenance of other materials.
- Provide admin support for the remote Stores, sales offices, and site operations.
- P Card purchases and administration.
- Payroll support to the site operations and finance as required.
