About the role:
We are seeking a Front Desk Administration Assistant to be the first point of contact for our clients and to oversee all aspects of the administration side of our business.
We are located in Blackburn and this is a Full-time, permanent opportunity. (Working hours could be flexible to suit school hours if desired.)
The Administration Assistant will report directly to the Director of the company, but will also work in collaboration will all members of staff.
The day to day duties will include:
- Managing the front desk efficiently, which will include answering the phones, meeting and greeting clients, sorting mail and managing the company inbox
- Data entry – Entering supplier invoices and maintaining the client/job database, we use “BuildXact”
- Preparing quotes for clients - typing and formatting documents
- Invoicing clients
- Office upkeep including ordering stationery and office equipment
You must have a minimum of 12+ months of office experience to be considered for this position. Our ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, good communication skills and a professional presentation. Knowledge of the building industry will be a bonus, but not essential. You will be engaging and friendly and be able to build relationships with ease.
