Western Psychological Services is looking for an efficient and dynamic "organiser" to join our caring and developing team on a casual basis (regular shifts)
We have a busy team of 20 consulting clinicians and 5 support staff. You will play an important role in the success of our business. You'll be providing "Front line" services by effectively managing & coordinating client appointments along with all of the varied administration tasks that are required in running a very busy mental health practice.
Some flexibility in days and hours, and, you will be asked to relieve other staff during leave periods.
Key tasks & experience required:
Answer phones in a professional & caring manner.
Offer a high level of professional confidentiality & adhere strictly to processes for dealing with private & sensitive client information.
Follow up on all relevant filing, client referrals and reports.
Excellent computer and typing skills including MS Office, booking & billing systems experience an advantage.
Selection Criteria to be addressed in your cover letter include:
Ø Allied Health administration experience highly regarded.
Ø Dedicated reception experience and exposure/proficiency in booking & billing software applications highly regarded.
Ø Strong effective communication skills to relate to clients and consultants.
Ø Evidence of providing exceptional customer service & able to prioritise workloads, including excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Ø Ability to work independently with a high level of attention to detail.
Ø Ability to take on additional shifts at short notice as required.
Ø Please detail any additional skill or quality that you believe would be beneficial in your role at Western Psychological Service eg IT skills, Accounting, Marketing etc.
