About the role
As the Receptionist you will provide front of house reception and clerical support to a busy Medical Imaging department. You'll ensure high level, accurate data entry of patient registrations & appointments, effective management of all telephone queries, patient billing, and daily clinic liaison.
A regular day will see you:
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, staff and visiting specialists
- Ensure accurate data entry of patient details into the patient management systems
- Manage the daily paperwork flow and ensure appointments and bookings are consistent with the PGWIC Department policies for patient access
- Liaise with multiple departments & clinics to facilitate patient appointments within the appropriate medical timeframes
- Answer all incoming calls & queries within the outlined KPIs
About you
We are looking for an experienced Receptionist with attention to detail, who is looking to make a difference in the healthcare industry!
You’ll bring with you:
- Clerical/reception experience (minimum 3 years)
- Previous experience working as a receptionist in healthcare
- Previous experience billing for medical services (MBS/Private Patient Billing)
