BLT is a family owned business first established in Cairns in 1987. We opened our office in Weipa in 2011. We are a Qantas Platinum and IATA Accredited Travel Agency and are the Ticketing agent for Qantas for Queensland Government's Local Fare Scheme.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience in a travel or tourism role eg Hotel, Airline, Car Hire or Day tour company would be highly regarded
- Understanding and Experience of Microsoft Office Suote of apps - eg Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
- Previous receptionist experience in a busy office
Tasks & responsibilities
- Greet clients and assist them in making appointments to discuss their domestic and international travel requirements with our other team members.
- Assist clients in completing various travel related forms.
- Provide general information on RAHTA, The Local Fare Scheme, Compassionate Bookings and other regular booking processes.
- Create and process simple travel bookings in Amadeus GDS
- Create and maintain client profiles in our Tramada Client Management system.
- Cash and Credit Card Bankings.
- Printing Client Travel Documents
- Scanning, Emailing and Filing of various documents.
