As a Customer Service Officer, being the first point of contact, you would be relied upon to address customer queries appropriately, deliver excellent customer care and ensure customer satisfaction.
The role includes the following duties:- manage customer queries, bookings and billing
- general administrative duties including but not limited to maintaining electronic files, banking, incoming/outgoing mail, scanning etc:.
- rolling out marketing campaigns, including mailouts and over the phone canvassing
- minor hearing aid repairs and troubleshooting
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn
- Bubbly, friendly personality to manage incoming calls is a must.
- Patience, compassion and a positive attitude
- Self motivated. At times, the successful candidate may be the sole staff member present on their days of work. Thus, the position would suit a person who enjoys working independently in a small, quiet environment and who is able to self motivate and manage their time and duties.
- Computer skills. General Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge required. Industry specific software also used for which training will be provided, however a quick learner is essential.
- General admin experience to manage tasks such as phone calls, customer queries, customer bookings, data input, scanning, incoming and outgoing mail, banking etc:.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to jobshare seamlessly. This entails ensuring good communication between staff and documentation
- A mature person who is wanting to commit to a long term part-time position
Whilst applicants with experience in the hearing industry is desirable, it is not essential as training would be provided.
