The Receptionist provides a professional, courteous and customer focused reception and administrative support service to residents, families, staff and the public. About youWe are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients. The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:Greet all visitors to the site in a warm, courteous and professional mannerAnswer telephone calls promptly and professionally and direct callers to appropriatepersons, including dialling of external numbers as requestedPromptly respond to and direct enquiries, consistent with SCC’s customer serviceprinciplesProvide efficient word processing and clerical services for the corporate office such as mail merges, name tag creation, production of certificates and maintenance of phone register as directed by the Manager CEO’s OfficeCollect and distribute mail and other correspondence / deliveries in a timely mannerMaintaining site office administrative stationery store, mail room and the distributionof all mail as required, within agreed timeframesExperience in dealing with clients in sensitive and difficult situationsExperience in dealing with clients/public and a multi-line telephone switchboardPrevious experience in a similar role is desirable, as is experience in the aged care industry or a not for profit organisation.About usSouthern Cross Care is one of Australia’s leading charitable aged care and retirement living service providers.
