About the role
A great opportunity to learn the skills of reception and join our busy Canberra firm. (We would also like to hear from you if you are an experienced receptionist.) Your every day will include things like:
greeting clients and staff
answering and transferring telephone calls
taking detailed messages
distributing incoming and preparing outgoing mail
preparing our court filing
working with our legal support team and office manager
booking, setting up and cleaning our meeting rooms
following up catering, stationery and IT requirements
organising, cleaning and maintaining the staff kitchen
general administrative duties
About you
You will genuinely enjoy working with people and providing our office and clients with service, support and confidentiality.
You will have natural communication skills and enjoy multi-tasking.
You will be professionally presented and have a friendly telephone manner.
