Job description

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and reliable receptionist to join our team on a part time, ongoing basis from Monday to Friday. The role will commence at 20 hours per week, with the option to transition to full time for the right candidate.

About the role

The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for our clients and will be responsible for - 

  • Welcoming all clients and providing a positive first impression, either in person, over the phone or via email
  • Schedule and record client appointments and maintain staff calendars and meeting schedules 
  • Collect and record all forms of payments including EFTPOS, cash
  • Collect and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
  • Use of accounting software to maintain and update client records including all communications with clients
  • Preparation of client files ahead of appointments
  • General administration tasks as directed

Your essential skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role involving reception duties and administration
  • Possess a genuine interest in the industry
  • Excellent customer service skills and pride yourself on building strong relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills and a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Willingness to learn, show initiative, ask questions, and be a proactive team player
  • Friendly, welcoming manner, and professional presentation
